Samuel holds a B.A. and M.S. in Engineering. As an owner and managing director of several international companies in the hospitality, real estate and food industries, Samuel has successfully developed many commercial businesses. As the Chairman and Founder of HS Manufacturing Group®, he aims to turn a vision, to reduce the global reliance on plastic, into reality. Through his entrepreneurial experience and strong managerial skills, he will help HSMG™ develop ideas and commercialize innovations within the packaging, paper and pulp industries.

Lucy holds a J.D. and LL.M. in International Taxation and B.A. in Government Affairs. She has nearly 20 years of experience working with global businesses and executives as their legal and tax advisor, and has served on boards of national and international foundations. Lucy has also served as executive officer and general counsel to national organisations. As the Vice Chair of HS Manufacturing Group™, Lucy is responsible for the Group’s global businesses and expansion, advises the Chairman and oversees the day-to-day activities of HSMG™.
Michael has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and 35 years of experience in research and development and corporate engineering in the paper industry. He is a co-author of many technical publications, patents, and presentations on cellulose-based products, including the production and application of cellulose nanomaterials. Michael is also involved in several trade associations, including former Chair of the Producers Committee, Tappi Nanotechnology Division, and has been on the Board of Directors, an advisor, and a consultant for early stage companies, multi-national corporations, and non-profit groups.
Simran holds a B.S. in Business Marketing. She has held various sales and marketing roles within the luxury goods industry. She was responsible for increasing brand and product awareness, maintaining vendor relationships and improving business partnerships for several years.

Jon has a M.S. in Chemistry and 15 years of experience in research and development for the paper & pulp industry. He is the co-author of several patents, with experience in innovative product development.

Kris Burton has a B.S. in Biology from Texas Tech University and an M.S. in Environmental Management and Policy from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has prior experience in new product development and technology transfer in higher education, government, small business and Fortune 500 companies.
Paul R Durocher
Director of Product Development
Paul has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and 36 years of experience managing technology and product development/commercialization for the paper, technical specialties and rigid packaging industries. He has extensive experience in coating design and application, process development and continuous improvement from work in R&D and manufacturing. A former chairman of the TAPPI board of directors, Paul enjoys working with wide variety of producers, vendors and suppliers.
