Samuel holds a B.A. and M.S. in Engineering. As an owner and managing director of several international companies in the hospitality, real estate and food industries, Samuel has successfully developed many commercial businesses. As the Chairman and Founder of HS Manufacturing Group® LLC, he aims to turn a vision, to reduce the global reliance on plastic, into reality. Through his entrepreneurial experience and strong managerial skills, he will help HSMG™ LLC develop ideas and commercialize innovations within the packaging, paper and pulp industries.

Chief Executive Officer
Michael has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and 35 years of experience in research and development and corporate engineering in the paper industry. He is a co-author of many technical publications, patents, and presentations on cellulose-based products, including the production and application of cellulose nanomaterials. Michael is also involved in several trade associations, including former Chair of the Producers Committee, Tappi Nanotechnology Division, and has been on the Board of Directors, an advisor, and a consultant for early stage companies, multi-national corporations, and non-profit groups.
Daryl has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, is a former USPTO patent examiner and has practiced Intellectual Property law as an attorney for the past 14 years. He has an extensive background in developing IP assets for start-ups and large companies, including commercializing IP, product development and licensing IP.
Simran holds a B.S. in Business Marketing. She has held various sales and marketing roles within the luxury goods industry. She was responsible for increasing brand and product awareness, maintaining vendor relationships and improving business partnerships for several years.

Jon has a M.S. in Chemistry and 15 years of experience in research and development for the paper & pulp industry. He is the co-author of several patents, with experience in innovative product development.

Kris Burton has a B.S. in Biology from Texas Tech University and an M.S. in Environmental Management and Policy from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has prior experience in new product development and technology transfer in higher education, government, small business and Fortune 500 companies.
